Snow brought a fresh coating to the region early Wednesday, before clearer skies arrived later during the afternoon. This will set us up for a bone chilling night, with frigid air entering. Lows will drop between -10 and -15 degrees, while northwest winds blow at 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Thursday will feature a mix of sun and clouds, as the colder air mass settles in. Highs will top off in the low to mid teens, as winds begin to shift out of the southwest at 10 to 15 miles per hour.
Tomorrow night, clouds will be in and out, as we brace for another cold night. Low temps will bottom out in the upper single digits, while southwest winds continue at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Partly sunny skies will be accompanied by late flurries Friday, as milder air returns.
