Assault, robbery charges dismissed in road rage case
MARQUETTE — Robbery and assault charges have been dismissed against a father and one of his sons for their involvement in an alleged road rage incident that happened in Marquette this fall.
Jeremiah Murphy, 59, of Jacksboro, Tennessee and his two sons, Daniel, 24, and Patrick, 21, both of Skandia were involved in a confrontation involving two other men in the Ace Hardware parking lot in Chocolay Township in October. The two men were allegedly assaulted and had items taken from them during the incident.
Police later stopped Jeremiah’s vehicle on the US-41 bypass near Grove Street.
