According to multiple media reports, the Detroit Tigers have landed outfielder Yoenis Cespedes and two pitchers from Boston for starting pitcher Rick Porcello.
In his six seasons in Detroit, Porcello went 76-63 with a 4.31 ERA. Cespedes was in Boston less than a year. The Red Sox landed the 29-year-old outfielder in a trade last summer from the Athletics. Cespedes has a career .269 batting average and he is a defensive upgrade for the Tigers.
Both Cespedes and Porcello are free agents after the 2015 season.
