Kingsford man pleads guilty to marijuana charge
MARQUETTE — A Kingsford man admitted to federal marijuana distribution charges in U.S. District Court in Marquette Thursday.
Randall Fieck, Jr. made a plea deal with federal prosecutors. He pleaded guilty to manufacturing over 50 marijuana plants.
Fieck, who is a licensed medical marijuana cardholder, was arrested in January after his daughter told her kindergarten teacher about homegrown marijuana and had a strong odor of marijuana on her clothes. Police seized 200 marijuana plants from his home.
Fieck will be sentenced in March and could spend up to 20 years in prison and pay over $1 million in fines.
