Ishpeming meth lab suspects arraigned
MARQUETTE — Two Ishpeming residents facing meth charges appeared in Marquette County District Court Monday for their arraignments.
Jessondra Pennala, 37, and John Heribacka, 40 are each charged with two counts of operating/maintaining a meth lab in the presence of a minor. The charge is a felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison and/or a $100,000 fine.
They were arrested October 16 after the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team executed two search warrants at 260 Marble Street in Ishpeming Township and 213 Oak Street in Ishpeming.
The U.P.S.E.T. team uncovered the largest amount of meth-related components ever in Marquette County at the residence on Oak Street.
Pennala and Heribacka’s bonds are at 10% of $250,000 on each count.
They will appear in court November 3 for a preliminary exam.
