Meth lab defendants make guilty pleas
Two Alger County residents involved in a meth lab case will not be going to trial.
David Gumuski, 29, and Keith Anderson, 31, were scheduled to start their trial in Alger County Circuit Court Monday. Instead, the two pleaded guilty earlier this month to possession of meth. Both men will be charged as four-time habitual offenders.
They were arrested with Fred Hunt IV, 44, and Amy Rocke, 44, in February after a meth lab, and meth lab components, were found at a home on Superior Street in Munising. Hunt is serving two and a half years in prison.
Gumuski and Anderson will be sentenced September 22.
