MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Indianapolis Colts announced Tuesday they have signed former Northern Michigan University offensive lineman Chad Anderson to a free agent contract.
Anderson, a 6-3, 316 pound native of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., was a four-year letterwinner for the Wildcats and started all 32 games over the course of the last three seasons for NMU, including starting all 10 as a senior at right tackle.
Anderson anchored an offensive line, which helped generate 23.5 points per game for the Wildcats and 352.8 yards per game in 2013-14. NMU was 31-37 in the red zone last season and posted 3,021 yards of total offense.
