Krause named to All-American team

MARQUETTE, Mich. – Northern Michigan University senior linebacker Nick Krause has been named a Preseason All-American Third Team selection by USA College Football announced the organization.
Krause, a native of Gillett, Wis., has led the Wildcats in tackles the last two seasons including racking up 83 last season with 41 solo hits. Krause averaged 8.3 tackles per game and had 3.5 sacks and seven tackles for a combined 66 yards lost while appearing in all 10 games last season.
Krause was named the Defensive Most Valuable Player last season for the Wildcats and posted a season high 15 tackles in the season finale at Ferris State on Nov. 16.
