Flint man pleads guilty to Houghton County gun charge
A Flint man could spend up to ten years in prison on a Houghton County weapons charge.
Markeese Henderson, 30, has pleaded guilty to receiving or concealing stolen firearms. Prosecutors dropped two other charges under the terms of his plea agreement. He’ll be sentenced in Houghton County Circuit Court on August 11th.
Henderson was arrested by authorities in downstate Genesee County after detectives from the U.P. Substance Enforcement Team found an active meth lab at 111 South Tamarack Street in Laurium in December. UPSET says they also found evidence there that suggests Henderson was delivering narcotics.
