Marquette Royales player signs with Finlandia
Hancock, MI – Finlandia University men’s hockey coach Dane Litke has announced that Lane King has committed to continue his education and hockey career at Finlandia University starting in the fall.
King, a 6’2″ forward from Waunakee, Wisconsin; comes to Finlandia from the Marquette Royales of the Minnesota Junior Hockey League (MNJHL). Last season, in 47 games for the Royales he scored 28 goals and added 105 assists for 133 points. Lane also helped lead the Royales to the MNJHL championship in the 2013-14 season.
“Lane is a very gifted offensive player and we look for him to continue his stellar offensive play here at Finlandia,” said Coach Litke. “He brings a great work ethic and will be a big part of the Lions hockey program.”
