Last week’s ABC 10 Community Poll was very close! 3,237 unique-users casted their vote. We asked your opinion on round-abouts. The results were neck and neck. As of June 13 at 8pm, 1,735 (54%) of you said “I like them. Navigating a roundabout is swift, easy, and safe.” – and 1,502 (46%) of you said you dislike them, “They are confusing, dangerous, and costly.”

This week we want to know what you think about university tuition increases. Do you support an increase in tuition for secondary education, or not?
Y) Raising tuition at universities is common. The increase at both MTU and NMU were necessary, and secondary education in the Upper Peninsula is still more affordable than elsewhere in the state.
N) The schools are passing the buck to the students. Student loans are too difficult to pay as it is. The universities should not increase tuition, and look for other sources of funding.
