Packers have signed 3 draft picks entering rookie mini-camp
The rookie mini-camps for both the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions begin on Friday. It’s not crucial that either team has all their draft picks signed by the time camp begins, but the Packers now have three of their nine NFL Draft selections under contract.
Fifth-round pick Corey Linsley signed a four-year, $2,405,000 contract on Thursday. The former center out of Ohio State also received a $185,000 signing bonus. Linsley may end up competing for a starting job this season.
Former Wisconsin wide receiver Jared Abbrederis, a fellow fifth-round pick, and seventh-round selection Jeff Janis both signed rookie contracts on Wednesday. Janis was a GLIAC player, a wideout drafted out of Saginaw Valley State.
