Monday’s Weather — 4/28
The work week will start out beautifully with sunny skies and mild temperatures.
Winds are expected to say strong over the next 36 hours. Northeast winds will howl around 20-25 miles per hour Monday night as rain enters the region. Rain is expected to move into the U.P. after midnight. Snow could fall in the western portions of the U.P., but accumulations will be minimal. Temperatures will fall into the lower to mid 30’s overnight.
Conditions remain cool, damp, and dreary Tuesday as rain covers most of the region with northeasterly winds around 15-20 miles per hour. Temperatures will hover in the lower to mid-40’s. Winds will die town Tuesday night to 10-15 miles per hour. Rain showers continue through Tuesday night with temperatures in the high 30’s to low 40’s.
Portions of the U.P. could see up to an inch of rain the in the next 24 hours. Heavy rain could have the potential for minor flooding in areas with snow cover.
