UPDATE: Name released in fatal rollover crash in Houghton

Police have identified the victim in the rollover crash as 68-year-old Michael Nutini of Calumet.

A single vehicle rollover accident in Houghton County has claimed the life of one person.
Officers from the Houghton County Sheriff’s Office say that the accident happened shortly before 8:00 a.m. at the intersection of M-203 and Christensen Road north of Hancock. Upon arrival, deputies found that the driver involved in the incident was deceased.
The accident is still under investigation, but officers say that neither speed nor alcohol are believed to have been a factor.
The Houghton County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Mercy Ambulance, the Quincy-Franklin-Hancock Township Volunteer Fire Department, and the Boston Fire Department.
