Ishpeming meth lab suspect faces felony charges

An Ishpeming man faces felony charges after police discovered an active meth lab in his home Wednesday.

Branden Holm, 27, was arraigned in the Ishpeming Branch of Marquette County District Court today on two counts of operating and maintaining a meth lab. If convicted, he could spend up to ten years in prison. Holm will be back in court February 27th for a preliminary exam.

The Ishpeming Police Department executed a search warrant at 429 East High Street Wednesday afternoon, and discovered several components and two one-pot cookers.

Police were assisted on scene by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team and the Ishpeming Fire Department.
