Charter boosting Internet speeds without raising prices
Charter Communications customers living in the U.P. might be able to browse the web a little faster this year.
The company says it’ll roll out its Charter Spectrum program throughout 2014, doubling Internet speeds for residential customers from 30 megabits per second to 60 at no extra cost.
Charter Business clients can already see a bump. Companies on the Essentials30 and Pro50 platforms have now been boosted to 60 megabytes per second and 80 megabytes per second, respectively, also free of charge.
These speeds will be available to new customers and will be changed automatically for existing customers.
