Wisc. teen facing three felonies after police chase
The fifteen-year-old Wisconsin teenager who took police on a car chase in Iron Mountain is facing three felony charges.
According to Dickinson County Prosecutor Lisa Richards, his name is Tyler Jon Dollar.
Dollar was in court Monday night and is charged with receiving/concealing a stolen vehicle, a five year felony; assault with a dangerous weapon, a four year felony; and fleeing/eluding police in the fourth degree, a two year felony.
Dollar was arrested Monday after allegedly stealing a vehicle. He drove the vehicle from near Niagara, Wisconsin through Iron Mountain. Dollar hit a Michigan State Police vehicle on U.S. 2, then left the roadway and overturned.
He is in custody at the Bay Pines Detention Facility in Escanaba. No new court date has been set yet.
