Colorado court date set for Mapps
Harry Carl Mapps has been scheduled to make his first appearance in the 10th Judicial District Court of Colorado next Monday in Pueblo.
Mapps is 59 years old and is a graduate of Kingsford High School. He was arrested on December 28th at a hotel in Oklahoma after a month-long manhunt.
Mapps was extradited from Oklahoma to the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday. He faces first-degree murder and arson charges in connection with the shooting deaths of Kim and Reggie Tuttle and their adult daughter, Dawn Roderick.
Their bodies were found in the Tuttles’ home in Rye, Colorado on November 27th after it was damaged by fire. Oklahoma authorities say money appeared to be the motive.
They say Mapps stole checks made out to one of the victims and cashed them on the day of the fire. He also faces theft, identity theft and forgery charges.
