Man arrested for allegedly stealing firearms
A Gogebic County man is facing multiple charges involving stolen firearms.
Anthony Michael Adams of Ramsay was arraigned in Gogebic County District Court and is charged with four felonies: first degree home invasion, second degree home invasion, felony firearms and weapons possessed by a felon.
Adams could spend over forty years in jail if he is given the maximum sentence on all charges.
Troopers from the Wakefield Post of the Michigan State Police say Adams stole firearms from a residence in Bessemer Township in November.
He was arrested December 4 in Minneapolis and is currently lodged in the Gogebic County Jail.
Troopers say the investigation is still ongoing.
