Shopko Hometown giving money to schools
Shopko Hometown is giving money to school districts during the holiday season.
All Shopko Hometown stores are collecting signatures from customers through Christmas Eve. For each signature a store collects, the Shopko Hometown Foundation will make a $1 donation to the school district in which the store is located. The donations are capped at a maximum of $2,000 per store.
Shopko is calling the program the Help Us Give Back initiative. In the Upper Peninsula, Ishpeming, Calumet, L’Anse, Iron River, Wetmore and Manistique have Shopko Hometown stores.
Customers can sign once a day, every day, and no purchase or donation is required.
