Police believe remains of missing El Paso baby have been found
Authorities in El Paso, Texas say they believe the remains of 5-month-old Jackson Farrey have been found in New Mexico.
The body of a child was found in Orogrande, New Mexico just after sunrise today. El Paso ABC affiliate KVIA is reporting that police would not say how the remains were found or how they learned about the location.
Jackson Farrey and his family went missing last week from their home in El Paso. His parents and his 19-month-old brother were found at a motel in Escanaba on Sunday.
Escanaba Public Safety assisted the El Paso Police Department in taking Jackson’s parents, Jeffrey and Jenna Farrey, into custody. Nineteen-month-old Blake Farrey was taken in by Child Protective Services.
Jeffrey Farrey is in the U.S. Army and is stationed at Fort Bliss, which is in El Paso. He’s in police custody on a military hold. Jenna Farrey is awaiting extradition to Texas.
