SANE arrests three in Chippewa Co.

The Straits Area Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested three Chippewa County residents on drug charges.

Brittney Knight, 27, of Kincheloe was arrested on four counts of delivery of Morphine. She was arraigned in Chippewa County District Court on three counts of delivery of Morphine, less than 50 grams.

Benjamin McBroom, 31, also of Kincheloe was arrested for delivery of Morphine and delivery of Dilaudid. He was arraigned on three charges: two counts of possession of narcotics, less than 25 grams and possession of marijuana.

Sault Ste. Marie Resident Daniel Hutte, 39 was arrested on two counts of delivery of Morphine. He was arraigned on two counts of delivery of Morphine, less than 50 grams.

The trio has preliminary exams scheduled for November 25.

It is not known at this time if Knight, McBroom, and Hutte’s arrests are connected, or if the arrests were separate incidents.
