Chase suspect facing multiple charges
A Baraga man who took police on a high speed chase last week is facing multiple charges.
Daniel Wadaga, 21, was arraigned in Baraga County District Court Tuesday.
He is facing one count of second degree fleeing, four counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, three counts of malicious destruction of police property, and one count of OWI.
Wadaga is currently in the Baraga County Jail on a $250,000 cash bond.
Wadaga led police on a high speed chase that spanned over 40 miles in Baraga County until police arrested him on U.S. 41 near Bovine.
