Man with third OWI offense sentenced
A Wisconsin man who led police on a car chase through Marquette Township in August was sentenced in Marquette County Circuit Court Friday.
Scott Upson, 37, of Green Bay was sentenced to six months in jail on his third OWI offense.
He was given credit for 56 days served and has to pay over $1,200 in court fines.
Upson was stopped for a traffic violation just after midnight in August on County Road 550 near Sugar Loaf Mountain and led police on a short chase to the entrance of Wetmore Pond.
Police were forced to use a taser on Upson after he did not follow police commands.
