Mass shooting at Washington Navy Yard
National media reports say at least 13 people are dead and another 10 are injured after a mass shooting at the Washington, DC Navy Yard.
The shooting began shortly before 8:30 this morning.
Officials say one gunman, 34-year-old Aaron Alexis of Fort Worth, Texas, is dead, but a search was continuing for one other possible shooter.
The Navy says the yard was placed on lockdown after the shots were fired inside a building. The victims include civilians, military members and police.
The FBI is leading the investigation into the incident.
