Pop-up shop showcases vintage clothing
If you are in the market for some fall fashion, there is a chance to look through vintage apparel in Marquette Friday night.
Two Marquette area online clothiers are partnering once again to host a pop–up shop on the campus of Northern Michigan University.
Dharma Threads Vintage and Dusty Luck Vintage are teaming up with local artists and shops to give the community a chance to check out their merchandise.
“It’s a bunch of different local artists from local musicians, different stores like Healing Touch. A bunch of different local artists all in the same room helping each other to make this show happen,” Dharma Threads Vintage Partner Madeline Goodman said.
“Essentially, you’re bringing the best of your best products to a location. So it’s like a portable, traveling thing. It’s really great because it connects customers that otherwise wouldn’t be connected to your business. You get to bring your product somewhere and you’ll be able to share your craft,” Owner of Dharma Threads Vintage Jessica Wolf said.
The pop–up shop is from 4 p.m.–9 p.m. Friday at the University Center on NMU’s campus. The shop will also feature health and wellness products and tarot card readings.
