Super One holds fundraisers for community
Super One Foods in Marquette hosted not one, but two fundraisers Friday.
Messiah Lutheran Church held a bake sale for their youth group inside the grocery store. Proceeds from the bake sale went to the youth programs and funding a trip to Detroit for the group.
“Super One helps the community in every way we can,” Super One Foods employee David Edwards said. “Super One helps with lots of different fundraisers for the community, varying from schools to animal shelters to well beings of humans.”
“The community takes care of us, and we take care of the community.”
There was also brat cookout to benefit the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter. For $2.50 people could get a brat, chips, and a drink. The food that was donated from Super One.
The cookout for UPAWS will also be held Saturday from 11–2.
