Police looking for suspected shoe thief
Police are looking for help in identifying a suspect who stole shoes from an Ishpeming business.
The Ishpeming Police Department says the suspect is a white male in his teens who was wearing checkered shorts, a dark shirt, and a hat with a symbol on it.
He allegedly stole two pairs of shoes worth around $200 from Wilderness Sports on July 31 just after 5:30 p.m.
Surveillance photos from the store also show that a girl was with him, but police do not know if she was involved. The girl has blond hair is in her late teens wearing a light green tank top and blue jeans.
