Third meth lab co-defendant sentenced
A third co-defendant in a meth lab case in Gogebic County has been sentenced in Circuit Court.
Forty-year-old Wendy Hemmings pleaded guilty to operating or maintaining a meth lab.
She was sentenced to six to 20 years in prison. Her court fines and costs total almost $400.
Hemmings and her two co-defendants, George Davis and Kristin Carter, were arrested in March.
Davis was sentenced to six and a half to 20 years in prison. Carter was sentenced to one year of probation.
The Gogebic Iron Area Narcotics Team discovered a meth lab on Florence Street in Ironwood.
