Third robbery defendant sentenced
The final defendant in a convenience store robbery case was sentenced in Delta County Circuit Court.
Annaelise Ambrose, 22, pleaded guilty in June to Attempted Larceny in a Building and Lying to a Peace Officer. She has been sentenced to five months in jail on each charge, and the sentences will run concurrently.
Ambrose was also given 18 months probation and has to pay over $6,000 in joint restitution costs with her co-defendants, Abby Johnson and Corey Vanderlinden.
The trio robbed the Grain ‘N’ Grape store between Escanaba and Gladstone last August.
Vanderlinden was sentenced earlier this month and is already out of jail. Johnson is spending a year in jail on two larceny-related charges.
