UPDATE: Lost cash found

The owner of some cash that had been found in Marquette Township has been located.

According to the Marquette County Sheriff’s department the $220 was found by a business owner who found the money on the ground near a business on Wright Street.

The Marquette County Sheriff’s Department is looking for someone who may have misplaced some money.

Police say an amount of cash was turned in to them on Wednesday after it was found in Marquette Township.

There’s no word on the amount or on where in the township it was found.
