Ishpeming City Council fills vacant seat

The Ishpeming City Council has had a vacant seat since the resignation of Councilman Dave William earlier this year. The council held a special meeting Friday morning to fill that seat.

The council had a question and answer session with two candidates. Following the session, the council unanimously selected Joe Juidici to take over the vacant seat. Juidici has lived in Ishpeming his whole life, and will add experience to the council.

Crystal Barr Berglund was the other candidate for the vacant seat. Juidici’s term will start immediately and runs for 18 months.
