Snyder talks to residents in online town hall meeting
Governor Rick Snyder hosted an online town hall meeting Tuesday night.
He took questions from Facebook, Twitter and audience members tuning in from three different locations: Roscommon, Coldwater and Monroe.
Snyder addressed various issues, from education to the environment. He talked about the accomplishments he’s done in office, including balancing a budget. Snyder said those have helped the state get back on track.
He also talked about adding more State Police Troopers, especially since Michigan has four of the most violent cities in the United States.
Snyder said there will be a Great Lakes Governor’s meeting in May or June to discuss environmental issues.
