U.P. Children’s Museum looking for input
For over two decades, the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum has provided a unique place for children and families to learn through participation.
U.P.C.M. is now in the beginning stages of forming a group that will lend a hand with further development of the museum.
“Friends of the Children’s Museum” has laid out one simple mission, helping the children’s museum. The group is seeking about thirty members to be actively involved with lending that helping hand.
Making the animal enclosures more accessible to kids and redesigning play areas are a couple objectives for the time being.
Anyone who is interested in joining are welcome to contact Nheena Ittner through the U.P. Childrens museums website at www.upchildrensmuseum.com.
