Family Video lymphoma fundraiser

A Marquette store is helping raise money for cancer research while giving people a chance to pick up some sweets this evening.

Upper Michigan Family Video stores are encouraging customers to participate in a two-part fundraiser.

It’s called Round It Up for Lymphoma.

Part one is a bake sale.

At the Family Video store in Marquette, you can donate to the cause and pick up a variety of baked goods.

The second part of the fundraiser is at the register.

It lets customers donate by simply rounding up transactions to the nearest dollar.

Family video has 775 stores.

Last year, they raised a million dollars for lymphoma research.

The bake sale at the Marquette store is only taking place today, but donations will be collected through the end of the month.
