Job fair held at NMU
The spring semester is quickly coming to an end at Northern Michigan University. That means that students are starting to look for jobs.
The 23rd Annual Upper Great Lakes Collegiate Job Fair took place at NMU today. There were a wide range of employers at the fair, from law enforcement to medical fields. Steven LaFond, Assistant Director of Career Services as NMU said there were also a lot of manufacturing employers in attendance.
Around 60 employers attended, and even conducted interviews for positions. LaFond said that with the high number of employers at the fair, it is showing signs that economy could be improving.
Students from all Upper Peninsula colleges and universities were invited to attend the job fair.
