Pigs-N-Heat practice
The annual Pigs–N–Heat hockey game will take place tomorrow at the Lakeview Arena in Marquette.
But before the teams hit the ice, the players have been putting in some practice time. Members from both squads have been spending time together on the ice in pick–up games to brush up on their skills.
The teams recently held their final practice before the big game. Both teams are looking to put on a good show.
The event has turned into more than just a regular hockey game. Events will be taking place both on and off the ice throughout the night.
Tickets are one dollar each and can be found at any police or fire station in Marquette County. You can also purchase tickets at the door. Proceeds from the game go to the Pigs–N–heat fire relief fund.
