Technology Group recognized for safety
Ishpeming, MI—March 11, 2013 —Cliffs Natural Resources, announced today that its Global Operations Services Technology Group, located in Ishpeming, MI, has been recognized with an award for demonstrating a continued commitment to safety.
The Technology Group received the Exemplary Safety Performance Award for 2012 recognizing completion of 35 years and a total of 3.3 million work hours without a lost-time incident. This level of safety performance is achieved by committing to do the 
job safely every time and in all types of conditions.

The award was presented during a recent visit from Joseph Carrabba, chairman, president and CEO for Cliffs Natural Resources and Laurie Brlas executive vice president, president Global Operations.
Safety standards for the Exemplary Safety Performance award are established by Cliffs corporate safety department.
