Congressman Benishek to meet with Veterans in Hancock

U. S. Congressman Dan Benishek (MI-01) will be hosting a public meeting for veterans in Hancock on March 11 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM EST at the Hancock American Legion Post 186 in Hancock.

The Congressman’s office says the public meeting will offer Northern Michigan veterans and their families the opportunity to share with Dr. Benishek their thoughts and concerns on issues facing Congress. Dr. Benishek will provide insight on his work as Michigan’s only member of the House Committee on Vetearns’ Affairs. Casework staff will also be available to assist citizens in need.

No appointment or RSVP is required to attend these events. The schedule is subject to change, especially if there is inclement weather. Therefore, attendees may need to call Dr. Benishek’s Iron Mountain District Office at 906-828-1581 to confirm the event.
