“Rumors” on stage in Marquette
Young actors are taking the stage to show the community a comic farce by one of America’s best known playwrights.
The Marquette Senior High School Drama Club is staging the play ‘Rumors’ at Kaufman Auditorium. It’s by legendary writer Neil Simon.
But ‘Rumors’ is not one of his better–known works. ‘Rumors’ is about a chaotic chain of events surrounding the hosts of a dinner party and their guests.
It has some adult content and language. But the original script is toned down a little bit.
The performances are tonight, Friday and Saturday, at 7 p.m. each night. Tickets are $12 for adults, and $8 for students and seniors. They’re for sale at the door, and at all N.M.U. EZ ticket outlets.
