Marquette brewery expands

The brewery business is going gangbusters in the U.P. and the newest one in Marquette County is undergoing yet another expansion.

The Ore Dock Brewing Company in downtown Marquette opened in May of last year.  A few months later, the amount of room for customers more than tripled with the opening of a large upstairs area. And, beginning Saturday, the Ore Dock’s unique brews will be available at other locations.

The Ore Dock’s craft beers will soon be available at other Marquette County establishments.    Pike distributing has teamed up with the brewery in this new venture.  Although they’ll start with keg distributions, the goal is for retails can or bottle sales.
