Marquette man facing two meth charges
A Marquette man has waived his preliminary hearing and has been bound over to Circuit Court in Marquette County on meth lab charges.
22–year–old Gregory Retaskie, Jr. was arrested on a warrant January 28th when police were called to his apartment on Presque Isle Avenue on an assault call. Marquette Police determined the man was not assaulting his girlfriend, but rather trying to assist his girlfriend during a medically related situation.
However, while in the apartment, police found drug paraphernalia, including suspected meth lab components. Retaski was taken into custody January 28 on an outstanding warrant for a previous charge of Operating and Maintaining a Laboratory involving Methamphetamine – a 20 year felony.
He also now faces meth lab charges because of the components found in his apartment two weeks ago.
