Wii Bowling at Negaunee Senior Center
One popular resolution is to live a healthier lifestyle.
Negaunee-area seniors are finding some unique ways to get active, whether it’s a resolution or not.
The Negaunee Senior Center routinely hosts events each month to encourage its clientele to get moving.
Seniors got together today for a few games of bowling on the center’s Nintendo Wii video game system.
Senior Center director Kristy Basolo says it’s part of their New You program, which will run throughout this year.
It involves performing some activities for the mind, for the body and for the soul that may be unfamiliar to the seniors.
The Senior Center also has programs that include aerobics, dancing and tai chi.
Crosswords and board games are also popular.
