Car accident near Culver’s in Marquette Township

The Marquette County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an accident on US 41 near Culver’s in Marquette Township. The accident happened around 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

The Sheriff’s Department says Nicole Carr, 22, of Marquette,  was driving a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee eastbound on US 41 when a white, full sized, four-door Ford pick-up truck moved into her lane.

Carr was forced to leave the road, but there was no contact between the two vehicles. Carr was then forced onto the Culver’s driveway, over a rock berm, and into the Red Lobster parking lot.  The vehicle came to a stop near the restaurant.

Carr complained of neck pain, but did not request medical attention. The Marquette County Sheriff’s Department is asking anyone who witnessed the crash, or can identify the Ford pick–up truck to call them at 906–225–8460.
