Mqt. Winter Farmers Market

With it being mid–December, we’re well outside of the traditional farmers’ market season by now.

But in the city of Marquette, the season actually extends right up until Christmastime.

Many people may not know that the Marquette Winter Farmers Market exists.

This is its third year overall and its first year at 502 West Washington Street.

However, it’ll have to move next year.

The Marquette Food Co–Op will be moving into that same space.

But Sarah Monte from the Co-Op says she’s confident that the market will continue in a new location next year.

The Winter Farmers Market has two Saturdays remaining for the season…tomorrow, and also Saturday the 22nd.

It’s open from 10 am until 1 both days.
