Ish.-Negaunee Chamber Punch Cards
The Greater Ishpeming–Negaunee Chamber of Commerce has a new way this holiday season to encourage people to shop locally.
The chamber has had a punch card program going on since just before Thanksgiving.
The cards are available at its offices on US–41 in Ishpeming, and many of the chamber’s members also have them.
Chamber communications director Kate Annala says you get to have the card punched once for each $10 that you spend at a member business.
Everyone who turns in a completed card of 10 punches is entered in a drawing for 500 Chamber Bucks.
They can be used like cash at more than 150 chamber businesses in Marquette County.
Cards have to be turned in by 5 pm on Wednesday, December 19th.
The drawing will be at noon on Thursday, the 20th.
Only purchases made between November 20th and December 19th count toward the card.
Each completed card also has to be accompanied by receipts to verify the purchases.
