Pickford store sells Powerball ticket worth $10K
An Upper Michigan store was one of more than a dozen at which $10,000 winning tickets were sold in the record November 28 Powerball drawing. Lottery officials say the Pickford Market in Pickford had a winner. Michigan may not have had the jackpot winner in last night’s Powerball drawing, but over 300,000 lucky Michigan players were winners of prizes ranging from $4 to $1 million!
The winning numbers were 05-16-22-23-29 and Powerball 06.
Two players matched five numbers in Wednesday’s drawing to win $1 million each. The millionaire-making tickets were sold at the following locations:
- CVS/Pharmacy 08035, 13250 Ford Rd., in Dearborn
- East Paris Discount Liquor, 2871 E. Paris SE, in KentwoodThe Lottery collected $20.1 million in Powerball sales for Wednesday’s drawing, setting a record for that game.
Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot, $587.5 million, was the largest ever in the game’s history and was shared with winning tickets, one in Missouri and one in Arizona. In addition to the two $1 million winning tickets, Michigan wins ranged from 169,099 $4 winners who matched just the Powerball to 18 $10,000 winners who matched four white balls plus the Powerball.

Pickford Market, Pickford; Nhan Corporation (Marathon), Ann Arbor; and
East Paris Discount Liquor, Kentwood.

The two $1 million winners should contact the Lottery’s Public Relations Division at 517-373-1237 to schedule an appointment to claim their prize. Winners of prizes greater than $600 should claim their prize at a Lottery regional claim center. All other Powerball winnings can be claimed at any Lottery retailer.
