U.P. Blood Center prepares for upcoming holiday weekend

In preparation of the upcoming holiday weekend, the U.P. Regional Blood Center is in critical need of blood donors throughout the entire Upper Peninsula, especially those with A-positive and O-negative blood types.

If you haven’t donated in the last 8 weeks (and meet several other qualifications regarding health, age and weight) you are eligible to be a blood donor. All blood donated at the UP Regional Blood Center stays in the UP.

Donations can be made at the following locations located throughout the U.P.:

U.P. Regional Blood Center – Escanaba
