Synchronized Skating in the Copper Country
Being an ice skater takes grace…stamina…and a lot of hard work. Being on a team of synchronized skaters takes all that plus a healthy dose of teamwork.
Northern Ice began their season with an exhibition during Turkey Trot 2012 at the John MacInnis Student Ice Arena in Houghton.
Though it wasn’t a competition…these young ladies have worked for months to perfect a skating routine in unison. In a town where hockey is king…synchronized skating is still a growing sport…but more and more young skaters are finding it right for them.
