Child sexually abusive material found: U.P. man arrested.
An eight month cyber-crime investigation has led to the arrest of a Menominee man for having child sex abuse materials. The 37 year old man was arrested today at a home in Menominee. Michigan State Police from the Gladstone Post say the material was on the man’s computer.
Along with the Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit, the investigation involved the Wisconsin Department of Justice and Escanaba Public Safety.
If convicted, the suspect could face four years in jail and/or a $10,000 fine.
He is lodged in the Menominee County Jail. His name will be released after he has been arraigned in 95th District Court in Menominee.
